Brewery Spotlight
Dogfish Head – Seasonals & Limited Releases
Immort Ale 11% ABV $10 / 12 oz. Bottle
Vast in character, luscious & complex. Brewed with peat-smoked barley, this strong ale is brewed with organic juniper berries, vanilla & maple syrup. Aged in oak.
Palo Santo Marron 12% ABV $8 / 12 oz. Bottle
This beer is a 12% abv, highly roasty, and malty brown ale aged on the wood of the Palo Santo tree from Paraguay. Palo Santo means "holy tree" and its wood has been used in South American wine-making communities. We were lucky enough to get our hands on 20 blocks of the super-dense wood.
Midas Touch Golden Elixir 9% ABV $8 / 12 oz. Bottle
Our recipe showcases the ingredients of barley, white Muscat grapes, honey & saffron found in the drinking vessels in King Midas' tomb! Somewhere between a beer, wine and mead, this smooth, dry ale will please with Chardonnay or
I.P.A. drinker alike.
Fort 18% ABV $40 / 750 ml Bottle
Flavored ale fermented with over a ton of fresh, pureed raspberries (20 pounds per barrel actually). This flavored ale was made to age with the best of ‘em.
Hellhound on My Ale 10% ABV $25 / 750 ml Bottle
2011 marks the 100th birthday of Mississippi Delta bluesman Robert Johnson who, according to legend, sold his soul down at the crossroads in a midnight bargain and changed music forever. Working again with our friends at Sony Legacy (yup, the same folks we did our Miles Davis-inspired Bitches Brew with), Dogfish Head pays tribute to this blues legend by gettin the hellhounds off his trail and into this finely-crafted ale. Hellhound is a super-hoppy ale that hits 100 IBUs in the brewhouse, 10.0 ABV, 10.0 SRM in color, and dry-hopped with 100% centennial hops at a rate of 100 kilos per 100 barrel brew-length. Can you tell we at Dogfish are stoked for this mighty musical centennial? To accentuate and magnify the citrusy notes of the centennial hops (and as a shout out to Robert Johnsons mentor Blind Lemon Jefferson) we add dried lemon peel and flesh to the whirlpool.
Pangaea 7% ABV $35 / 750 ml Bottle
Vintage 2008
An experimental beer using one ingredient from every continent (crystallized ginger from Australia, fermantable blue rice from Asia, Belgian yeast, etc.) Pangaea is the name of the Earth's sole supercontinent before the continents split over a billion years ago. Brewed with ingredients from each and every continent, Pangaea is a slightly spicy ale with a mouthful of rich flavors. It's a great food beer.
Our list of worldly ingredients includes:
- Crystallized ginger from Australia
- Water from Antarctica
- Basmati rice from Asia
- Muscavado sugar from Africa
- Quinoa from South America
- European yeast
- North American maize
Samuel Adams – Seasonals & Limited Releases
Imperial Series
Double Bock 9.5% ABV $8 / 12 oz. Bottle
Samuel Adams Double Bock is brewed with a half pound of malt in each bottle, almost enough for a loaf of bread. This rich intense, lager reveals a deep mahogany color and velvety smooth flavor. Samuel Adams Double Bock is one of our most sought after brews. Enjoy!
Imperial Stout 9.2% ABV $8 / 12 oz. Bottle
Our take on the stout brewed by 18th century English brewers for the Russian Imperial Court of Catherine II. The special malted barley in this intense and massive brew delivers rich flavors like dark chocolate, coffee and anise.
Imperial White 10.3% ABV $8 / 12 oz. Bottle
Sam Adams Imperial White pushes the boundaries of a witbier. While the brew delivers orange and coriander notes typical of a witbier, it has a bigger mouthfeel and body. It is truly a unique brew.
Wee Heavy 10% ABV $8 / 12 oz. Bottle
Inspired by the traditional Scotch Ales, has a deep, intense flavor from its dark roasted malts. The addition of peat smoked malt adds a unique flavor of the Highlands to this complex brew.
Samuel Adams Chocolate Bock 5.8% ABV $25 / 750ml Bottle
Vintage 2009
Samuel Adams® partnered with Scharffen Berger Chocolate to develop their newest innovation, Samuel Adams® Chocolate Bock. Tettnanger and Spalt hops were hand-selected from the world’s oldest growing area and combined with a complex selection of malts including two row Pale, Munich and caramel to create a rich and satisfying brew. This dark beer has a big, malty character that is combined with the subtle sweetness of chocolate. The chocolatiers at Scharffen Berger crafted an exclusive blend of chocolate for Samuel Adams® made with cocoa beans from Ghana called forastero. Samuel Adams® Chocolate Bock was aged on a bed of this chocolate to create its unique layers of flavor. As the beer matured, the fruity, tart, earthy and chocolate aromas were infused into the liquid to give the brew a complex, full-bodied taste with a velvety finish. A hint of vanilla was added to meld the symphony of flavors together.

Dos Costas Oestes Florida/California 9% ABV
Dos Costas Oeste is the result of a collaborative brewing effort between Cigar City Brewing of Florida’s Gulf (West) Coast and The Bruery of Placentia, CA. Like the breweries involved with its creation this ale cheerfully meanders off the beaten path. Join us in celebrating this West Coast to West Coast collaboration.

Aged on grapefruit spirals $25.00 / 750ml Bottle
Sierra Nevada Ovila Saison California 7% ABV
A collaboration between Sierra Nevada Brewing Co and the monks at the Abbey of New Clairvaux, Ovila Abbey Saison brings the centuries-old monastery brewing tradition to America. Ovila Abbey Saison is complex and contemplative-but also refreshingly dry and drinkable. With earthy and spicy aromas, this rustic Saison has note of green grass and a faint citrus tang. The body is light and layered with fruit and spice accents and a dry, peppery finish. A portion of the proceedsfrom this ale go toward the restoration of the historic Santa Maria de Oliva chapter house on the grounds of the Abbey of New Clairvaux. This medieval building stood for nearly eight centuries in Spain. William Randolph Hearst purchased the monastery in 1931 and planned to use the stones for a castle even grander than his famous San Simeon. Although Hearst’s plan crumbled, these historic stones will rise again in a California Cistercian abbey.
$18.00 / 750ml Bottle
Sierra Nevada Ovila Dubbel California 7.5% ABV
Ovila Abbey Dubbel is brewed in the abbey tradition, and perfect for the re-birth of spring. Clear and deep copper in color, this Abbey Dubbel has a complex and rich malty sweetness with hints of caramelized sugar. The aroma is a heady and layered mix of fruit and spice, with hints of clove, raisin, and black pepper from the use of an abbey style yeast
$18.00 / 750ml Bottle
Chouffe Houblon Double IPA/Tripel Belgium 9.5% ABV
A unique marriage between the English tradition of IPAs, the new American revolution of Imperial IPAs and the classic Belgian way of brewing. Houblon Chouffe, although very much hopped as it is, showcases the unique balance between a very strong IPA and a very special Belgian Tripel exclusively created for this ale (Big malty body, distinct dryness, expressive estery fruitiness).
Ratebeer Rating – 99/100 Points
$20.00 / 750ml Bottle
Abbaye des Rocs Grand Cru Belgium 9.5% ABV
Abbaye des Rocs Grand Cru has a rich, complex fruit aroma of cherries, golden raisins, peaches, and assorted dried fruit, laced with honey and caramel. Smooth, rich flavors reminiscent of cherries dipped in caramel, finishing with notes of dried chocolate, roasted almonds, and a hint of molasses.
Ratebeer Rating – 100/100 Points

St. Bernardus Abt 12 Belgium 10% ABV
The absolute top quality in the hierarchy of the St. Bernardus beers. It is also the beer with the highest alcohol content (10.5%). A dark ivory colored beer with a high fermentation. The show piece of the brewery. Thanks to its soft and unconditionally genuine aroma, the beer can be smoothly tasted. The Abt has a very fruity flavor.

Victory Dark Intrigue Pennsylvania 9.1% ABV
Since its arrival in 1997, our Storm King Stout has enticed folks to “discover the dark intrigue” as its label suggests. While enjoying that great imperial stout, we have been intrigued by the myriad of flavors it exhibits, and encouraged to test the limits of perception and pleasure by adding to the rich experience of Storm King Stout. So here you have such a exploration, involving Storm King Stout aged in oak barrels that once matured Kentucky bourbon. Blended to perfection, this one is surely dark and intriguing!
Ratebeer Rating – 99/85 Points
$20.00 / 750ml Bottle
Hoppy Total Eclipse Black Ale California 5.6% ABV
Total Eclipse Black Ale has been described as similar to a light, dry stout. Characterized by its distinctive hop aroma and rich, black color, Total Eclipse redefines the way you think about a dark ale. Brewed at a low temperature to create a refreshingly dry finish, Total Eclipse uses only the finest two row malted barley and hops grown in the great Pacific Northwest. This combination results in a clean, crisp, hand-crafted experience.

Vintage 2008
At Weyerbacher, we prefer to brew things true to European style guidelines, so our barley wine is definitely on the malty side, without being overly sweet. Rich, velvety and deliciously complex, Weyerbacher Imperial Stout is a truly distinctive winter warmer. We use seven types of malt and two varieties of hops to bring forth this big brew. Quite robust and roasty on the palate, Weyerbacher Imperial Stout has a wonderfully fruity nose and a moderately dry finish. The taste is highly complex- perhaps you’ll even discern notes of expresso or chocolate.
